Activism

Activism is the intentional and direct effort to bring about social, political, economic, or environmental change. It involves campaigning, advocacy, and other forms of action, often organized collectively, to influence public opinion, policy, or legislative processes. Activism can take many forms, including protests, demonstrations, petitions, lobbying, and grassroots organizing. Activists strive to raise awareness about specific issues, mobilize support, and create tangible improvements in society. The focus may range from local community issues to global concerns, such as human rights, climate change, or social justice. Typically, activism is driven by a commitment to a cause and may engage various methods to enact change or challenge established practices and systems.
