Nogomet

Nogomet, commonly known as football or soccer in many parts of the world, refers to a team sport played between two teams of eleven players each. The objective of the game is to score goals by advancing a ball into the opposing team’s net, primarily using feet, although players can use their heads and bodies, except for the goalkeepers, who can use their hands within the penalty area. Nogomet is governed by a set of rules known as the Laws of the Game, which are maintained by the International Football Association Board (IFAB). It is one of the most popular sports globally, played in numerous countries and leagues, with significant cultural and social impact. The governing body for international competition is FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association), which oversees major events, including the FIFA World Cup.
