Formula 1

Formula 1, often abbreviated as F1, is the highest class of international auto racing for single-seater racing cars, sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA). It represents the pinnacle of motorsport, featuring a series of races known as Grands Prix, which are held on circuits and sometimes on closed public roads. The competition is characterized by its combination of advanced engineering and technology, high-speed performance, and strategic teamwork.

Teams compete with two cars, and points are awarded based on finishing positions in each race, contributing to both the Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championships. Formula 1 cars are built with cutting-edge technology and emphasize aerodynamics, speed, and innovative design. The sporting season typically runs from March to December and spans various countries worldwide.

Formula 1 is distinguished not only by its technical aspects but also by its rich history, iconic drivers, and significant cultural impact, making it one of the most popular and prestigious motorsport series globally.
